For the TalentEdge Internship program is it required that the intern be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada?

For the TalentEdge Internship program the intern must be legally eligible to work at the Applicant Organization.

For company-based internships, the intern must be legally eligible to work in Ontario. If an intern is not a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, the intern must have any proper work permit required. Please note, proof of work permit may be requested by OCE.

For academic-based internships, the intern must have student status at the academic institution for the duration of the internship.
