How do I accept an invitation to review an application?

The process for accepting an invitation to review an application is determined by the review model each program follows. The table below outlines the process for accepting an invitation to review an application by review model.

Program Type	Description	Method of Accepting Reviews	Timelines for Completing Reviews
Expression of Interest (EOI)	Used for programs with a two-stage application process. EOIs are submitted and reviewed before invitations are extended for applicants to submit Full Applications.	Reviewers will receive an email from Application-Review@oce-ontario.org. Reviewers will accept the review by replying to email with their acceptance. When accepted, reviewers will be granted access to the project in the AccessOCE portal.	Timelines vary and will be communicated via email from Application-Review@oce-ontario.org. Depending on the program, a review meeting may be required to make the final funding recommendation.
College of Reviewer (COR)	Typically used for programs requesting funding less than $150,000.	Reviewers will receive an automated email from Application-Review@oce-ontario.org. Reviewers will log into the AccessOCE portal to “Accept” or “Decline” the review (see image below).	Reviewers have two business days to “Accept” or “Decline” the invitation in the AccessOCE portal. After accepting, reviewers have five business days to complete and submit their review through the AccessOCE portal.
External Reviewer Panel (ERP)	Typically used for programs requesting funding greater than $125,000.	Reviewers will receive an email from Application-Review@oce-ontario.org. Reviewers will accept the review by replying to email with their acceptance. When accepted, reviewers will be granted access to the project in the AccessOCE portal.	Timelines vary and will be communicated via email from Application-Review@oce-ontario.org. Depending on the program, a review meeting may be required to make the final funding recommendation.
