The industry partner must provide at least 1:1 cash matching on the OCE contribution and at least half of the match must be spent at the post-secondary institution.
For example, for a request from OCE for $20,000, the industry partner must provide matching contribution of $20,000 cash with at least $10,000 of this cash sent to the post-secondary institution to cover direct project costs. The remainder of $10,000 may be spent at the company. OCE funds are provided to the academic partner only and cannot be provided to the industry partner or spent at the company.
