What additional criteria must a company meet to be eligible as an industry partner for the National Research Council Canada (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP)?

If applying for the National Research Council Canada (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) with a VIP I project, companies must:

• Be a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Canada, incorporated and profit oriented
• Have 500 or fewer full-time-equivalent employees
• Have the objective to grow and generate profits through development and commercialization of innovative, technology-driven new or improved products, services, or processes in Canada

The company must work with an IRAP Industry Technology Advisor (ITA) to prepare their application.
