What criteria must an applicant and internship candidate meet to be eligible to apply for the Mitacs Accelerate program?

To be eligible for the Mitacs Accelerate program, a candidate must be:

• A full-time graduate student at any publicly-funded Ontario university/research hospital from all academic disciplines, or
• A postdoctoral fellow (except those who have previously held a Mitacs Elevate award). PhDs must have been granted no more than five years prior to the project’s start date
• A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or international student

To be eligible for the Mitacs Accelerate program, an applicant must be:

• A faculty member from any Ontario university/research hospital from all disciplines who are eligible to hold Tri-Council funds (colleges are not eligible for this stream)
