For the Voucher for Innovation and Productivity I (VIP I) program, any publicly-funded post-secondary research institution based in Ontario can apply. This includes universities, colleges and research hospitals. For research hospitals, the hospital must be a member of the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO) to be eligible.
Please note, the applicant must have an arms-length relationship with the industry partner as defined on the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) website (refer to the section "Conflict of Interest Guidelines for Partner Organizations").
